Homeowners sometimes envision large, elaborate, lighting fixtures when they think of the word chandelier. However, since the original chandelier was designed many years ago, it has evolved into many designs, shapes, materials and sizes. This article briefly discusses mini chandeliers, also referred to as small chandeliers and chandelettes in the lighting literature.
Mini chandeliers can add decor and lighting to small rooms and living spaces. Small chandeliers can also be used to illuminate small spaces in homes, to complement other lighting in the room, and/or to provide accent lighting. Small chandeliers can be used as one unit or as multiple units in the room. Small chandeliers may also be used in modest homes, where large chandeliers may not fit in, or appear out of place with the home style and ambiance.
